BACKGROUND

The idea behind this concept evolved after studying light principles, with a clear inspiration from curtin blinds.
The design primarily focus on graphical elements, shadow-play and rythm. All elements are treated, appearing as cloudy.

Repeated slats on each side makes a continuous figure, while screws highlight the construction in an honest way.
The pendulum is mounted in two stainles steel wires.






Side slats are ajustable and the lamp can be
flat-packed. PL-03 possess an industrial vibe, suitable for office work-light.

Wood




PL-02

COLLECTION

Ash Veneer 05.mm

BACKGROUND

This lamp concept originated from the idea about bending wood. The shape takes inspiration from Kulturtårnet on Knippelsbro in Copenhagen.The main focus was about working with a singel veneer sheet, and how its elasticity could be utilized in a controlled way.





The design focus on contrasts, how the lamp appear with and without light, and the transition between soft curves and straight planes. PL-02 primarily provides a directional downlight, suitable for hospitality and residential.

Paper










PL-01

COLLECTION 


MATERIAL:
Lime Paper
        Beech wood

BACKGROUND

PL-01 is a table pendant, strongly inspired by Danish thatched roofs and tectonic elements found in half-timbered architecture. The design focus on the lightness and structural properties that lime paper posess.

Overlapping layers are used to cover direct light from the 2 bulbes, held together by a thin construction in beech wood. The paper creates a comfortable diffused light. The table pendant is simple and light, both in terms of weight and visual appearance.

PL-01 provides an ambient dimmed light, suitable for table lighting.
